	22-12-2008	"Hot paper" Our manuscript entitled "The doping effect of fluorinated aromatic hydrocarbon solvents on the performance of common olefin metathesis catalysts: application in the preparation of biologically active compounds" has been selected for inclusion in the “Hot Papers” section of Chemical Communications and was higlighted in the RSC magazine Chemical Science.

	04-08-2008	One PhD position in our group will be financed from the International PhD Projects Programme, operated by the Foundation for Polish Science within the Innovative Economy Operational Programme 2007-2013 . This position will be available at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Warsaw.
	20-06-2008	Łukasz Gułajski received a CONFERENCE GRANT for participation in the 2nd IUPAC Conference on Green Chemistry. This grant was funded by the Foundation for Polish Science in cooperation with the Warsaw Scientific Society. Congratulations Łukasz!
